On the Ligurian Riviera, the Excelsior Palace Portofino Coast’s Eden Spa, designed by Studio Marco Piva, combines functionality and attention to detail in an architectural context inspired by the territory.
The Spa extends across several floors, with a 68 m² swimming pool and spaces dedicated to saunas, Turkish baths and emotional showers, designed to offer comfort, natural light and visual continuity between interior and exterior.
Ariostea materials make a decisive contribution to the identity of the project. With their natural veins, the Saint Denis Ultra slabs in Verde embellish the pool edges, steps, doorways and customised furnishing accessories such as the tops of side-table and washbasins, evoking the verdant hues and ripples of the sea on the Ligurian coast.
Alongside the aesthetic value, Ariostea’s high-tech ceramics ensure resistance to wear, stains and temperature changes, while the ease of cleaning renders the spaces safe and hygienic, perfect for high-traffic contexts.
