An architecture that strikes a perfect balance between nature, tradition and contemporary style: in the interiors, Ariostea brings design and function to its technical ceramics with the Con.crea surfaces
Nestling between the olive groves and the sea, just a few kilometres from Polignano a Mare, Opeccellente is a cosy, inviting detached villa built in a modern, minimalist style. This contemporary version of the typical farmhouses of the Puglia region, echoing the local architectural traditions, blends smoothly and connects constantly with the surrounding landscape. Designed by the architect Paolo Pellegrini, this relaxing home with the accent on well-being and literally opening out onto the natural surroundings, boasts a luxury feel built around the “less is more” philosophy.

The villa is composed of two separate buildings: the main family home and a second part used to offer hospitality. The two are connected by a large covered patio that is the central feature of the home. The villa has two specular entrances, giving both parts direct access to the outdoor pool and equipped solarium area and the area with the portico where meals can be cooked and enjoyed al fresco, ideal for a convivial experience.
The interiors are lit up by large windows that create a pleasant, constant contact between indoors and outdoors. The comfortable, simply furnished rooms are light and airy, and their attractive shapes are enhanced by functional furnishings with a sleek design.
The same flooring has been installed throughout the villa, blending seamlessly with its sophisticated, minimalist style and featuring Ariostea’s high-tech ceramic Con.crea surface, which captures the essence of brushed concrete and resin. Selected in the colour Cloud, the soft, sensual texture brings an original appeal to the home, offering the perfect complement to the materials used for the infill walls and the outdoor paving in cement screed and local Trani stone.
The graphics of Con.crea bring out the character of each area, with all the functional, practical appeal of Ariostea porcelain stoneware: resistance to mechanical stress, scratches, stains and wear and tear. This durable surface is also impermeable, easy to clean and simple to maintain over the years.
