Town Hall
The new town hall of Leingarten, built from scratch in 2011, was conceived as a compact, four-storey construction, with a clear cube shape. Built on the area occupied by the previous town hall, dating to the 1970s, it looks onto the Market Square in front of it, with a large façade in light-coloured limestone divided up into windows that face the tower of the historic Church of St. Lawrence.
The project, by Pape + Pape Architekten, revolves around a modern, geometric architectural concept, slotting smoothly into the urban fabric and acting as a point of reference for the local community. The interiors focus closely on the building’s purpose, with a rational organisation of the areas designed to perform the various public functions.
From the lobby area on the ground floor, users enter an orderly environment, with clean lines, generously illuminated by natural light and warmed by beige wood elements. These formal characteristics are found on each floor of the building, creating a pleasingly uniform, welcoming atmosphere.
The light, airy ambience of the various areas is amplified by the Crema Europa high-tech ceramic surfaces by Ariostea, used for the floors: selected in a variety of sizes, the staggered laying pattern brings a dynamic, slightly decorative touch to the settings.

The subtle, dusty tones and distinctly natural appearance creates a link with the materials used outdoors, making for an attractively coordinated, reassuring effect.
Inside Leingarten Town Hall, Crema Europa by Ariostea brings both the beauty of stone and all the advantages and excellent performance of Ariostea porcelain stoneware, known for being extraordinarily practical, hygienic, safe and durable.
