Ariostea’s technical ceramics create intimate living spaces full of charm
Casa SCV achieves a careful balance through the configuration of the rooms and the choice of furnishings, materials, and colours. Situated in Milan, this contemporary yet cosy urban retreat reflects the personalities of a young couple. Studiocarta (Arch. Mauro Carta, Arch. Silvia Faravelli) spearheaded the project, fully understanding the owner’s desires and designing a made-to-measure flat that not only met their functional requirements but also aligned perfectly with their aesthetic vision.
The 65-square-metre flat was built starting from a clever internal division that made the most of the available surface, ensuring a practical and efficient use of the different areas. The outcome is an understated and cosy ensemble featuring an open layout that seamlessly integrates a kitchen with an island, a living room and a home office nook, as well as a guest bathroom and sleeping area. Throughout the flat, the aesthetic is characterised by the use of materials like wood and surfaces that mimic natural stone, complemented by soft hues and graphic patterns. The natural light streaming through the numerous windows enhances the overall aesthetic.
The sleeping area, designed for privacy and intimacy, is separated from the rest of the house by a double bedroom featuring an ensuite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. A standout feature in this part of the home is Bardiglio Chiaro by Ariostea, characterised by an ash-coloured background enriched with grey veins and slate-like patterns.

The ceramic material envelops the wall behind the bed and extends into the bathroom, resembling the craftsmanship of a sculpted marble block. Inside the bathroom, the floor, walls and shower interior harmoniously blend together, creating an elegant and serene environment perfect for relaxation and personal care.
Two mirrored satin-finished glass units enhance the sense of continuity between the two rooms in the home. One of these units features a hinged door that offers glimpses into the adjacent space, striking a delicate balance between privacy and sharing.
Bardiglio Chiaro by Ariostea captures light in a unique way, adding brightness to the rooms and amplifying the sense of spaciousness. Its classic and understated charm perfectly complements the modern and minimalist design of the flat, adding a touch of elegance and personality.
The exceptional performance of Ariostea’s technical ceramics guarantees long-lasting durability, resistance and effortless cleaning and maintenance, allowing you to enjoy their natural beauty with peace of mind.
